Actor Portraits.
I had the chance to take some images for a group of actors who had been working on a video shoot I had been doing. I had used large windows and the light from outdoors, bouncing the light from a white table cloth hanging over a mic stand. The edit enabled me to add personal character to each portrait.
Outdoor flash gun experiments.
I like a challenge sometimes and I also like a cheap deal with electrical equipment. I bought a cheap £20.00 flash gun online. I took it outdoors with no real plan or idea. Just went out with my friend and shot some images. The metering and exposure gets a bit crazy in woodland areas as you have so many hot spots of light that you have to take into consideration when shooting. I will definitely like to try and shoot again in the woods, a great deal of fun.
Darren McQuade
Magicians are always interesting to photograph and film. I am still looking through videos I had filmed with Darren to work out how he does his tricks. I have never figured many out. Luckily he's a good friend of mine so I have more than enough time to figure it all out. On a photographic note Darren has one of the faces that can completely change depending on the side you shoot and hide in shadow.
Halloween Engagement shoot
Had a such a fun time doing this shoot. A winter engagement shoot with a twist. Smoke bombs, pumpkins and a happy couple. What more could you want?
